This article sums up all of the reveals. Seems pretty meh for the most part, lots of VR stuff and Indy games. New Switch-style PS5 add on, MGS3 Remake, and apparently Assassins Creed Mirage looks like old school AC. Nothing from FromSoft, no Bloodborne sequel/remake or new Soulsborne knock offs.

They did announce a new game called Phantom Blade Zero and it looks excellent. Reminds me of Ghost of Tsushima.

Outside of Spider Man 2 (which I made a thread about a little too soon) the Snake Eater remake, and maybe Starfield and Alan Wake 2, there's not a lot I'm looking too forward to.

It was a weird showcase. It didn't have anywhere near the Sony1st party studio presence I thought it would and heavily relied on indie studios and 3rd party studios to carry it. After not having a showcase for nearly 2 years, I would've expected to see more from Sony's 1st party developers and other than Spider-Man 2, the 1st party stuff we did see was just cinematics that told us nothing about the games. Overall I gave the show a grade of C-. I saw some solid stuff I thought was cool and Spider-Man 2 was straight fire! But overall, it didn't live up to the hype unfortunately.

Stuff I saw that interested me...

Spider-Man 2
Final Fantasy 16
Phantom Blade 0
Alan Wake 2
Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake
Resident Evil 4 VR
Helldivers 2
Marathon
Sword of the Sea
Towers of Aghasba
Tower of Fantasy
