it seems like almost everyone that's saying that party chat isn't for them is playing up the angle of people just getting online to use it for a glorified phone conversation with other people.......when that's really not at all what it's mainly used for. it's got a ton of benefits gaming wise.

Hey Vol Mania/rpvol...hit me up on party chat when you're playing Lego Indiana Jones....I'll be on Axel & Pixel. I want to tell you what Marci told Tracy today in 2nd period!

All kidding aside it would be cool to not have to listen to Nelly and Bone thugs N harmony in the lobbies, but then you also couldn't talk trash so to me its not anything to cry over not having

That rarely happens in ODs unless its duckman vs. harry. It's a bad habit not to be in a party with someone if you're playing an OD game with them.

agreed. I get into the game and play it like an actual coach would. I don't think Bill Bellicheck spends the whole game calling Rex Ryan a noob while Ryan says he's cheap and needs to suck his @$$....I'm one of those guys who concentrates and immerses himself in it (like a coach), plays it in a style like it's the real thing


also I don't like what the whole accelerated clock did last year to how madden had to be played....but that's a different subject

Not sure how calling someone a noob relates to party chat. I get into the game as much as anyone while still in party chat. Talk when I nees to. And occasionally swear into the mic when I forget to mute it.

The arguments thus far against party chat have been pretty weak.

bottom line for me it if i am playing mw2 and snake is playing ncaa11, i have no desire whatsoever to be party chatting with him. i just see no point ay all. when we talk on the mics, 90% of the conversation is about the game we are playing. i have used it on mw2 and i like it, but its the same as just muting everyone else. its like i said, its overrated unless you just like to talk to your friends constantly while you game. i myself do not unless we are all in the same game.

i'm not arguing for or against it;

i'm just saying i don't want to hear the other guy talking to me every play when I'm playing madden....i wasn't going into anything party chat or else wise

I think its gay that I have to Skype with my friends when we're both online, but playing different games. Party chat is a must in my opinion.

:shrug: people just play games in different ways. it's not like i obsess over the game or anything. I just play more seriously than casually

I don't get that serious over it but I'm like you. I play to win and do what I have to to win. Some call it cheesin. I don't think so. I find something that works and use it.

my friends really dislike when I call timeouts before halftime in order to try to get the ball back and score again before the quarter ends :)
