Plays of the game

Feel free to add more. But sometimes there’s just those little plays (or big plays) that you look back and say yeah that’s why we won. I know we dominated pretty much from late 2nd q on but here’s my 2.

When the game was still VERY MUCH in question…

1. McCoy INT in the endzone (obviously)
2. Brazzell forced PI just before half. Another Nico under throw before he got his bearings but Brazell came back and almost made the catch before Vandy defender tackled him before ball got there. Vols go on to make it 24-17 just before half then 31-17 after half (game over imo).

Honorable mention: Shoutout to Thornton in the first half and Nico’s legs. Dsamp and Bishop as well.

McCoy play was an awesome play, but in the actual game, it turned out not to mean much because Nico turned it right back over.

Thornton’s 2 touchdowns were probably the most important plays of the day.

Nico looking like what most thought he could be was the play of the game..Dylan Sampson is Dylan Sampson but if Nico looks like that in the playoffs look out.

Thornton’s 2 touchdowns were probably the most important plays of the day.

Thornton should have had a 3rd one, Nico underthrew him badly.

It still blows my mind how DSamp has gotten ZERO recognition on his season's body of work. This Vols team is more than likely a 6-6 or 5-7 team without him The guy has been a stud all season long. Mind-blowing the disrespect.

I agree with you, even though you turned it over right back to them. But you flipped field position, which was huge!
