It will be interesting to see if draft eligible players opt out of the playoffs like they do for bowl games.

They didn’t opt out of the previous CFP format’s 3 playoff games. So I’d imagine they’re not going to.

There might be 1 or 2 surprises but I would think a player opting out of playing for a National Championship opportunity might be a red flag for pro teams

3 or 4 extra games is a huge chance at getting hurt. I doubt they would opt out but it is a risk
