Living in Middle Tn it disgust me to see candy school crap. There are so many people who have moved to the mid state and started raising families. They are looking for a team to support and to these new people "candy" is the local college. The season opener here against UAB is a good thing for these transplants. It shows them that TENNESSEE IS THE UNIVERSITY of the local school not candy. We need to garner the support of these new fans. Their children will go to college somewhere and we want it to be at UT. Jalen Hurd is not a native born son of Tennessee and I do not believe Josh Malone is either. So places like Buck's that develope talent and improve the quality of high school players helps UT. WE JUST MUST SHOW LOVE TO THE KIDS IN MIDDLE TN. READ CBJ AND CZA NOTES FROMS SIGNING DAY AND THEY SAY YOU MUST SHOW THESE KIDS YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT THEM AND SHOWING THEM LOVE OR ANOTHER SCHOOL (IE candy, bammer, barn, fighting hens ) WILL. Let's recruit like we did this year and fully support the coaching staff. Beat the ×××× out of ∆andy every year and dominate the area. Then the players want to go to UT and we get the cream of the crop because besides BA, MBA, we got a lot of great talent from public schools in the mid state, Wharton, Gaulden, Medley, Hurd, Malone to name a few so it is not just the private schools in the mid state.
