Playing safe means you're playing scared

Reminded me of the Majors/ Fulmer years playing it safe!!!!

Yes he should have made the chipshot but the loss is really on the coach for shutting down.

When it was 4th and short with the game on the line—Kirby Smart went for a TD in the endzone. And got it.

When the game was winnable Heupel played it safe for a fg. And it cost him. That’s a lesson on risk and reward.

Same miserable lot would be blaming Heupel if he went more aggressive and there was a hold knocking us out of FG range or there was a turnover. It’s always the coach’s fault and message board geniuses always have a better play in mind. We were in position to win, coach trusted his players to get it done, we just didn’t execute properly.

Saban, smart, etc have used this same plan to win games time after time. Hell Key used it yesterday in the Georgia Tech game and had his kicker hit from 55 yards out. You’re a genius if you win and a moron if you lose. Fact is we’ve got some kids that have to do their jobs better; I know people will think I’m talking about max but he was only a small part of the problem. We had several opportunities to put more pts on the board or hold them down more. Special teams performance and tackling has to improve; a lot of yards after contact for Georgia.

Play calling was very good in that game. Kicker just missed it.

Think some folks are right about him coaching way to conservative at times and it does affect the outcome. Have to stay aggressive to win big games. Needs some TRT to get those nuts back. LOL
