I read this forum for entertainment purposes. But I think alot of people, including our players, may read it as if it were Bible or it is the true feelings of 99% of vol fans. Please keep in mind this board is so easily accessed and, yes along with disgruntled fans wanting a championship now, there are opposing teams fans that post crap on here too just to bring everyone down.
So with that, thank u players for being a part of the team that is the beginning of a solid foundation again at UT. get ur butts back to work and go slap the #1 team right in the mouth this weekend. U are strongly supported. GBO!!

Nobody I mean nobody on here is complaining about the players. We are holding the coaches, the guys who get paid, accountable for results. They aren't producing therefore the discontent. Pretty simple concept.

I have not read one single thread stating we do not support the players. We show support for the players by asking and wanting a positive change so they can be winners and not be continually inundated with Dooley's barbs at players explaining why HE lost the game.

I love our players. I am proud they put on the Orange and call UT home. I wouldn't trade any of them. They are sticking it out and giving their all during some of the darkest times at UT. It will pay off, I am sure of it. As a fan, I will always support our men! Don't ever give up gentleman, you have what it takes.

GO BIG ORANGE!

That is not true. Players are bashed on this site all the time. See the thread about some guy wanting to sit Bray down. Hear the people talking about how pathetic our secondary is. You may not be one of them, but there are legit player badgers here.

That said guys, don't quit. It's hard on the fans, it's hard on you, but don't quit. There are still plenty of games left, and though not many people will believe you can win out, you need to believe it. Make us proud of your play, regardless of noise seeking a coaching change.

I have long believed that TN did the right thing by firing Fulmer. It was time for a change. I believe the Kiffin experiment failed, but it was fun for a while. It was worth trying. I felt then, and still feel, that we should have known that it was going to take a while to dig out of the whole that we found ourselves in. We have been moving in the right direction.

Now, having said that, the clock is now ticking for me. With a smidgen of defense in the first half, we probably win that game. I am not sure there is any excuse for not fixing our defensive problems any faster than we are.

The next thing I must say though is that the schedule is not Dooley's fault, and it has been brutal to us. The next two games are worse, and they are not his fault either. It is probably not his fault that he now has a hip problem in the middle of the season either.

We need to come out and support our team against Bama. We are only becoming a part of the problem if we don't. Let's put away as much of the negative talk as we can until after we lose a game to one of the non-ranked teams on our schedule. I truly believe things are on the upswing. It is just unfortunate that our fanbase cannot remember that we knew that it was going to take a few years. THAT IS NOT DOOLEY'S FAULT.

As I admitted, I am starting to get impatient too, though. So, if we must get a new coach then so be it. He better be a good one or we are going to be staying on this merry-go-round for a long-long time.

I don't hold the players completely responsible. But I saw a team against ncst that was focused. They obviously were coached in the off season. Where did the focus go?I saw people in the secondary not focused last night. Our pass rush and coverage is dismal. But I still love you guys your our team and you have my full support. If you do read this forum don't take to heart some of the negative comments you see, more often its just people venting frustration. Or some inmature barley off mommas teat who just don't understand. GBO!!!!

You are right. The haters are a very small percentage but are very vocal.

Then u have not read many threads. Bashing bray, calling the players 6 years old, etc. And besides, how would u like to continually hear or read how the main influence in ur life right now isn't getting the job done and the players need better. People alot smarter than us can evaluate and make that decision at the end of the year. They don't need our help. And besides, good chance this team has 8 wins like most predicted at end of the year. Like it or not Dooley has, at least created stability and will continue to tweak his staff for even more productivity next year. What do u want? A 4 th year coach with 10 wins possible next year or another hope so coach?

UT has a considerably tough schedule this year playing top ranked teams. We are giving a tough fight and are losing on stupid mistakes. Coaches and players are both accountable, we need leadership on the field as well as on the side of the field.

Good post. But players do not and have never been on this forum. They leave the games, hit showers, hit the plane and study film and their playbook for next weeks matchups.

Nah.....who am i kidding.

Oh really. Did you miss the Hunter has checked out" thread or the feedback on "Bray tweet". Too old to understand a tweet, but wow.

Blame is over-rated, but I couldn't help noticing that the MSU players did their jobs as a team, with far fewer mistakes than our players. Everybody blames the coaches for that, and yeah, the coaches are responsible. But it's the players who win, and it's the players who lose.

Players, this place has an over-representation of Sunshine Pumpers.

I've seen plenty of threads bashing Teague, for starters.

So in other words, fans should accept whatever is put on the field and like it. Don't complain, don't express an opinion and keep buying tickets.

I can't think of anything more detrimental to the program than this.
