What happened to the player tweets? This has turned to the SOS that's in every thread.

And YET--he has still rushed for more yards than all of them behind one of the youngest and worst OL--and during one of the worst stretches of the program in UT history.

All things considered....if HURD would have had the luxury of running behind the OL that those guys above had--there would be little doubt concerning the GOAT....

Put any one of those guys behind the OL Hurd has had and would your opinion be the same??? I think only Travis Stephens and Chuck Webb would've been able to produce similar numbers in CBJ's offense....

It's easy to hate on HURD right now.....but history will definitely show him in a much better light when all is said and done. :salute:

Actually after quitting on his team, there's no way history can show him in a much better light.

That means we have nearly double saban's attrition rate with less talent on the roster.
What I'm getting at is that the causal relationship doesn't look like fear of competition

How many did bama take in the 16 class? I know that we took, I believe 33, in 2014. Now UT has lost what, 12-14 of his first full cycle. Guarantee that come this time in 2018. At least 12-14 of bama's 16 class is gone. Some just get home sick, some smoke pot, some have academic problems and yes some get sent packing to open a spot for a higher caliber player coming in the next class. Bottom line is you are dealing with 18-21 year old kids who tend to be a little unpredictable in how they respond to college life and football. It happens everywhere and we are not by any means at an excessive amount.

Thank you for your post!! I have typed a very similar post three times and decided not to send only because it seems the only time I post anymore is because of posters like MV44, Wylo, DE1 and a few more of the Les Miserables.

Really wish they would form their own little thread so as not to affect the rest of us..

I disagree here. Seems to me that he was given every opportunity to nail down a starting position But, on multiple occasions dropped very catch able balls. He even had the one, for a sure touchdown, that he just let go right through his hands and hit him in the face mask and bounce to the ground. Georgia game I believe, maybe wrong there. Point being though, he lost his starting position to JJ who, only cares about making the play for the team at all cost instead off worrying about how he looks for the coeds in the stands.

I don't disagree with you on your points. I'm nly telling you the heavy rotations is a part of it. Rhythm is everything, feel for the game is everything. His attitude etc was an issue. He hated what Azzani taught and ignored it etc. Guys under Azzani hate the robotic techniques he is coaching. Scott helped a lot, but not enough as Preston was ready to move on. Yes Preston is Preston biggest issue but most guys who are big time recruits are, esp Wrs.

Ok i didn't tk it hostile. I'm a guy who would send or try to push every 4* or 5* guy UT way. I eat lunch with big time boosters who say why, how, etc. They've all but given up too. I get blasted when crap like Saturday take place, esp after a bye wk. For the record this Jalen stuff didn't just happen after the SC game.

Yeah, thanks for the hard work and having the best interest of the UT program in what you do. Yeah I do understand about the Jalen stuff, been simmering for a while now.
