A ton of good vibes for hiring back Lane right now. How do you think the players would react to hiring Lane? Would it be instant swag city? Would they dig his attitude? I think they would. Heck, most of them were about 10 years old when he bolted for his dream job, so they don't really have a frame of reference for disliking him. What do you all think?

That is a damn good question! It would be interesting to get the current players thoughts.....personally, I believe most would buy in simple because Kiffin wins.

Players love Kiffon. With the options we have Kiffon far outweighs the competition. Kiffin my AC changes

I think he would be a players coach.

You know he would go after it after what happened last time around and contract could be reasonable because of it.

He wants to beat Saban. Bad

Hell he named his son Knox for crying out loud

Let’s go for it. He helped create some of this mess. Let’s get behind him and help clean it up and give a big F(a)U to the media

After the Schiano fiasco this guy looks like a saint. I’d keep him on a short leash tho :)

Probably the best Tennessee can ask for is Kiffin right now and it could end up being a Cinderella story for both him and UT.

He could go from being one of the most hated coaches in UT history (for leaving the way he did) to being one of the most beloved (assuming he has success, which I think he would).

He's young and could right this ship if he stays with it. Still has a big fan base and can win back everyone else with success. It wouldn't be that hard for him.

Plus he's funny and amusing.:hi:

Kiffin was my #2 only to Chris Petersen. This entire time.

He can develop QBs and receivers and he can recruit with the best of them. The players that played for him at UT loved him.

I think the university has proven they don't care what we think. It's gonna be a promotion from within at this point, or some mud major. 500 coach.

My business partner played for (and was flipped by) Kiffin. He loves him. Other players I have met love Kiffin. Hell, at Alabama game last year he, and a few other players, talked to Lane and he told them he was on the wrong sideline and that he really messed up by leavin UT.

Some of the fans my not love him but I've yet to meet a former player who has one bad thing to say about the man.

Go Bring LK back to the hill. #enoughsaid

I think he is one of the top player coaches you could get. That is why he wins players are willing to give the effort every week and day in say out.

He is a good coach that people love to hate. I like the fact that he has no fear of Saban. He is a good offensive minded coach that would need to find a good defensive coordinator which he has in his brother. Plus he is entertaining unlike Butch who bored me to death.:hi:I'll take Lane back in a heart beat. He is also a hell of a recruiter. What else do you want?:hi:
