And possibly get sacked and lose control of the game.

I would have attempted to get in FG range but it was a reasonable decision.

That last 4th down Guarantono has to be smarter in the pocket. He should know a QB cannot sit in the pocket for 5 seconds he should have stepped up sooner and ran. Has I said before he throws and good deep ball but he is has slow has molasses on a cold winter morning.

Guys. If we made excuses for Butch & Dooley, we can be patient with Pruitt also
We can say (1) Growing pains for new coach. (2) Not best coaching staff. (3) Butchs recruits (4) team not in good shape yet (5) Need to give it time to change the culture
If you think we are doing poorly, just look at Frost at Nebraska or Willie Taggart at FSU

I agree but it just sucks. A few weeks ago we were truly thinking we’d not win a SEC game this year. Now we’ve beaten auburn and shoukd have beaten SC. I don’t know how I feel about the rest of the season.

The 4th and 10 decision makes no sense at all, so low percentage.... does Pruitt have any say in offensive play calls. Not liking his “feel for the game” thus far

Yeah punt the ball away and watch our defense make a stop.... oh wait a sive stops water better than we stop the run right now.

I would have pushed for the 1st half FG too. But, maybe 55% to 45% in my mind. As far as the play calling today, I was actually VERY impressed. We played to our strengths and had a lot of success and long drives. We hurt ourselves with some offensive procedure penalties.
But the play calling was a breath of fresh air. Had we ran up the middle on 1st down 90% and tried to throw from 5 step drops all night, we would have gotten beat 45-7. Our defense was pourous tonight and cost us this one. That and the fact the stupid SEC officiating did not review the obvious goal line fumble that would have turned the game big time.

I think the ball was out but did not see definitive evidence it was out... but the fact that it wasn’t reviewed ...unconscionable
