Look at their own numbers, it's less than 1% of the population. And I'm sure if you go in there once a month for birth control that's counted as 12 people helped.

Quite honestly, the abortion industry is probably the greediest most powerful industry in the US which is saying a lot.

And the worst part is that people have been too scared to go up against them.

Abortion is a medical procedure, so why are abortion clinics allowed to work at lower standards than hospitals and doctor's offices? I'm dead serious.

Look at the horrors out of the Gosnell clinic! The cops raided the clinic (for a prescription drug ring) and found a clinic that had cat feces, blood, puke, urine over every single surface in that building. The equipment was not sterilized and being reused! Meanwhile the very night they went in a woman demanded an abortion. The cops called the Dept of Health to tell them what they had found and the Dept of Health replied "Let him do the abortion"

Yep, all about safety of women. Just let the quack doctor who was employing people who didn't even have high school education and conducting major medical surgery in an unsterile environment that was dirtier than a barn, go ahead with the abortion that could endanger her life from infection.

Oh yeah, and the health department waited over a month before starting the paperwork to shut the place down.

And before you go on and say "One time incident" it's not. Tanning Salons have more regulation than Abortion Clinics NYC’s tanning salons inspected more regularly than abortion clinics | New York Post

You want to be "pro woman"? DEMAND THAT A WOMAN'S HEALTH AND SAFETY COMES BEFORE MAKING $$$ !!!!!!

I always laugh when I'm called "anti-woman" I guess my ovaries don't count...

The sad thing is that I shouldn't have to clarify why I'm not "anti-woman" strictly because I'm against an industry that sees women as dollar signs.

Defund that crap fest and divert those gov funds over to health departments which actually do offer services for women's healthcare, including prenatal care.

Give PP non-profit charity status or privatize it, either option would give those howling celebs a perfect way to put their money behind their mouths and they could host all the fundraising events their little hearts desired.

My issue with the women's right marches that focus on pro-abortion is where were they when the U.S. Government was giving aid to countries that condone female subjugation, genital mutilation, and forced prostitution (sex trade)?

Why are there not protests for women's rights (that we hear about) that condemn these actions and our governments complicity?

On page 12 of a book entitled “Woman, Morality and Birth Control” that was published in 1922, Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger penned a statement which should leave no doubt about what kind of person she was….

“Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race.”

Hmmmmm....?

Can you name an industry that is involved in healthcare and performing medical procedures that is NOT regulated and inspected by the department of health?

Even restaurants get inspected. They get fined if the chef isn't wearing freaking hairnet.

But a place where doctors perform medical procedures are not. And even when cops will contact the health department to tell them the place is dirtier than a pigs's a$$ they tell them to let the doctor perform the procedure...and then sit on their thumbs for a month before even starting the paperwork to shut it down.

And then when lawmakers decide to hold said clinics to minimum standards of cleanliness, they get protested.

https://www.scribd.com/document/135646678/Grand-Jury-Report-Kermit-Gosnell-Womens-Medical

From the grand jury report:

When the team members entered the clinic, they were appalled, describing it to the Grand Jury as 'filthy,' 'deplorable,' 'disgusting,' 'very unsanitary, very outdated, horrendous,' and 'by far, the worst' that these experienced investigators had ever encountered. There was blood on the floor. A stench of urine filled the air. A flea-infested cat was wandering through the facility, and there were cat feces on the stairs. Semi-conscious women scheduled for abortions were moaning in the waiting room or the recovery room, where they sat on dirty recliners covered with blood-stained blankets. All the women had been sedated by unlicensed staff – long before Gosnell arrived at the clinic – and staff members could not accurately state what medications or dosages they had administered to the waiting patients. Many of the medications in inventory were past their expiration dates… surgical procedure rooms were filthy and unsanitary… resembling 'a bad gas station restroom.' Instruments were not sterile. Equipment was rusty and outdated. Oxygen equipment was covered with dust, and had not been inspected. The same corroded suction tubing used for abortions was the only tubing available for oral airways if assistance for breathing was needed…"

So how did this go on for so long? Well for starters his clinic wasn't inspected for 17 years.

Why?

Politics

Kermit Gosnell Clinic Not Inspected - Business Insider

The clinic was not inspected from 1993 to 2010, when FBI agents finally raided the place. They found moaning women covered in blood-stained blankets and jars with severed fetus feet, according to the 281-page grand jury report.

The grand jury report that lays out allegations against Gosnell has an entire section called "How did this go on so long?" The simple answer is politics.

Pennsylvania's health department stopped routine inspections of abortion facilities in the state after Tom Ridge, a pro-choice Republican, became governor in 1995.

Health department lawyers "changed their legal opinions and advice to suit the policy preferences of different governors," health department official Janet Staloski said in grand jury testimony. In this case, she said the state didn't want to be "putting a barrier up to women" who wanted abortions.

In 1999, high-level Pennsylvania officials met to consider starting up regular inspections again but decided not to, state lawyer Kenneth Brody testified, according to the grand jury report. He told the grand jury that officials were concerns that abortion clinics wouldn't meet inspection standards and then there "would be less abortion facilities."

The state's politics-driven policy continued until the gruesome allegations regarding Gosnell came to light.

But hey, they are pro women.

Should I mention women died because of these procedures?

Unless PP promotes eugenics today, I fail to see your point. I'm saying this as someone who doesn't think PP should receive a dime of federal funding.

They certainly enjoy hiding her true intentions

https://100years.plannedparenthood.org/#e1916-1936/1

But we don't know what their true motives are (my guess is money) we just know the majority of what they claim to promote is a lie.

They say they provide mammograms, but only 1 in 30 PP clinics provide them, most just transfer them to other clinics. So women who need mammograms are not going to get them at PP clinics

They say they provide prenatal care, but the latest undercover efforts have proven that of ALL of the clinics only 5 yes FIVE provide prenatal care with the workers actually admitting that they are only in the abortion business and not in actually providing other healthcare for women.

So in other words, their major "helping women" mantra falls to passing out condoms and killing babies.

And we don't know what status the clinics are on cleanliness since they aren't subject to any king of regulation.

I 100% agree with you, PP needs to stop receiving federal funding, especially since they don't actually use the funds that they claim is to promote women's healthcare...for women's healthcare. No mammograms, no cancer screenings, no prenatal care, just abortions.

PP needs to be shut down because it's murder.
Skate around the issue a million different ways.
Call it what ever name you desire, but it's stopping a heart beat of a human being.

The eugenics agenda is part of the issues with PP.
Rumblings are out there that if 2 women, one black and one white, with the same low income level went in at the same time for services, that the white woman had to pay and wait for an appointment while the black woman paid nothing and got an appointment immediately. This scenario reads as rushing one in before they change their mind and giving one time to change their mind solely based on color. It shouldn't matter what side of the political isle one chooses or what side of the pro-debate one is on, if there is any truth to those rumblings, everyone should be outraged and demand further investigation based on PP's foundation of eugenics support.
