There may be other posts and threads duplicating this one…and, if so, sorry. My son-in-law, his dad and I are going to the Pitt game. We have plans to go on the river cruise on Saturday prior to the game. However, we don’t know where we should go to congregate with other UT fans on Friday night. Is there a focal point? Or are there many locations scattered to and fro? We’re staying at the Embassy Suites….but we’ll travel wherever other orange fans are gathered for food, drinks and camaraderie. Suggestions appreciated. Go Vols!

Might check the Pittsburgh alumni chapter page closer to the game and see if they are having any event Friday night.

Theres a Pirates game Friday night and the official UT charter trip includes that. I'll be going to the Bucs game and then probably a bar on the northshore afterwards, maybe Southern Tier brewery.

The Sports Grille ( UTAA game watch location) is in Cranberry Township which is slightly over 20 miles north of Heinz Field. Heinz Field is on the River. Alumni Association meet ups are great but a River cruise plus 40 mile round trip before a game might be a bit much.

We are making a vacation out of it. Heading up on Thursday and staying through Monday. Visiting family up there. Friday night Pirates game. They play St Louis, who's having a good year. Big Orange on Saturday and hopefully Kennywood (limited hours that time of year). I'm interested to know where some of yall or yinz will be hanging out.

Kennywood is open Sunday, the 11th from 11-7. I'll likely take my son. Confirm online, because they are only open a few days in September.

Likewise for me for a Sunday trip to Kennywood. Wish they were open Friday night, would have really liked to see the park at night.

I will be wearing a red Yadi Molina Jersey... I'll see if I can find where our seats are. (My buddy got 'em)

Maybe we should designate a place to meet up like at the end of the 4th inning or something. I don't know the stadium, but anybody that does should name a place. I'll be there fer sure!

In right field, there's the Skull Bar and beside that a open plaza with food stands. Might work for that.

I'm going to the Bucs/Cards game too, Friday night. I can get up to 8 Tix in section 316 thru 320 for about half off (~$17 total after fees) if 6 others on here are interested in joining in.

If you've never been to PNC, it is absolutely better to get a section 216-222 or higher ticket for the best over all view... If you don't really care about either team (like me).

I have been to that stadium one other time. Kent Tekulve was serving drinks out there.... excellent choice. I'll have my Yadi jersey and Power T hat. Won't match, but my wife ain't there to judge. :)
