On mike and mike this morning. I do not agree at all and hope Scotty is not starting to do drugs.

How can he say that? He must be mad at MJ for something.

I can't remember the exact quote, but he said something close to, "Jordan is the best scorer of all-time, but LeBron might be the best player of all-time because of his ability to distribute at the end of games."

Now, I am a LeBron fan, but this statement is crazy. Knee-jerk reactions are ridiculous in the media nowadays. In 2006 everyone was saying Kobe is better than Jordan. Now before he's even won the championship this year, Pippen is saying LeBron is the best player ever.

People will argue that it makes good TV, but good TV usually means unintelligent people.

I would love for MJ to comment on it, but I know he won't.

Skill wise I have no problem with the statement. However his resume doesn't even compare yet.

Pippen has to be freaking on crack! MJ on his worst day is better or just as good as James on his best.

Lebron has some ways to go before he's as successful as Jordan, but as a basketball talent, James is superior (to everyone). Maybe that's what Pippen meant.

Lebron may be the best overall player when considering scoring, rebounding, passing, and defense. However, Jordan is the greatest of all time due to being elite at all those mentioned as well, being clutch, and having the greatest intangibles of anyone in any sport.

Scottie has always been jealous of Jordan. He felt like Jordan took away from his luster. Scottie needs to realize that Jordan took him on a ride for those 6 championships. Scottie was a very, very good player, but had he not been on the Bulls with Jordan he would've never been considered a top 50 player.

That may very well be true, but jordan doesn't have 6 rings without pippen.

Disagree. They would've got another player that would've came to Chicago and did similar things Pippen did. Pippen was very important to the Bulls, but he could be replaced. Same couldn't be said for MJ.

Not sure Pippen could have been replaced. He was as good of an all around defender as has ever played. Longest arms in the history of the world.

Jordan. His shooting alone makes him better than LeBron.

This is the problem with our perception of hoops. We greatly overvalue scoring. Jordan's ability to outshoot Lebron trumps everything else? Really? Lebron is taller, bigger, stronger, just as fast and athletic, a better defender, a better distributor, a better rebounder,...

Lebron = TS% .566 and 27.7 ppg, .329 3 pt
MJ = TS% .569* and 30.1 ppg, .327 3 pt

*Jordan's 2 years with Wizards brought him down a bit.
