Phillips, Wolf and Callaway to represent Tennessee at SEC Media Days

That, and he’s likely the 4th safety/buried in the depth chart.

I'm interested to see how exactly Kelly bounces back this year. There have been some murmurs that he was struggling with injuries the past two seasons that might have affected him more than was thought at the time. Seems like we hear that about a guy or two every offseason, though.

There was some talk a few weeks back that they may move Warrior over to NB at times. If that's true, there will be some snaps to be had for a 3rd Safety. Smart money is probably on Jackson there, but maybe Kelly has more left in the tank than many think. I'm rooting for him to end his career here on a strong note, even if it's just as a rotational or Special Teams guy.

Phillips makes sense, especially since he was one of the few players JP let talk to the media in the Spring. Hadn’t really considered Callaway but I can see that one too, he’s a sure starter at WR and he’s very well spoken. Didn’t see Wolf being one of the three at all.

Motivation for others?

I'm somewhat disappointed Tuttle did not find a way to get selected by Pruitt.

Callaway, saw him on a segment with Marcus Spears. He was running routes in a walking interview, he comes off likeable, personable, confident. Phillips and Wolf I don't know much about. I'm sure all three of the young men represent the big orange well.

Siap....tweet from Simonton

Tennessee with a very interesting contingent headed to SEC Media Days. Senior DL Kyle Phillips was a shoo-in, while WR Marquez Callaway and TE Eli Wolf are rewarded for their strong springs.

First pics are of Lyle and the Eli’s first picture is him lying on the field with Lyle standing over him.

Good group. The three will be big contributors this year in my opinion. Wolf shouldnt be a shock since we will likely be using the tight end a lot more this season and he had some good catches in the spring game.

I like the choices. Seems he picked well spoken players that have been putting in the work. All these guys set a good example. I would have liked it if Tuttle were in but it’s a short list.

I expect Philips to have a good injury free year.
