Watching oscar smith play Venice,Fl. Venice has trey burton as QB. He's headed to UF, Tebow type athelete, runner throws a godd ball too. Unimpressed with Hailes, slow off the ball not dominating for a possible 2-time AA. Sims looks very comfortable and poised. Throws a lot of screens, probably why he completed over +70% of his passes. He's wearing a knee brace on his left knee. Doesn't seem too affected by it though.

Hehad a pretty good game, Venic couldn't get regular pressre on him and he was killing hem with the screens. They have a MLB (SOPH) that is 6'0/220 that took Askews place that's gona be good. The WR forgot his name but he's #2, he also had a good game. Burton (Venice QB) HAD 219YDS and 81 rushYDS. They were 11-1 last season, but didn't have the team speed and ovrall talent that O Smith has. Good game though.

Sims- very impressive arm strength and accuracy..pretty thick and I am not sure how mobile he would be against SEC Dlineman. I really don't think he would be a great fit for what Kiffin wants to do at teh Qb position.

Hailes- very unimpressed with him..seems like just fat and lazy..spent most of the time standing around and not laying the wood to people..just overall looked like he could care less

Jc Coleman- look out for this kid..sophmore that is lightning in a bottle...really small but deadly in open space.

Wow, forgot about the score of the UT/SC game. We were down 21-0 at the half. Stephens came out of this game and said a "bleep" to one of the assistant coaches and Crompton was in the game. I can't wait for this years game.

I can't wait to see this years offense. Watching this game reminds me how bad the Offense was. You can see the body language and demeanor after being done 21-0. I know it will get better his year. I know the coaches are on the guys hard to compete and play hard.

Their Offense clicks and the Defense is a monster. They looked real good for the 1st game of the year and the pressure of being on ESPN.

I thought Hailes looked over rated too, even though he was d-teamed most of the time. The other d-lineman, #74, looked great. He was everywhere the ball was. Only problem is 5'9.

I was very impressed by Sims throwing motion, accuracy, and poise. He reminds me a lot Chris Leak. I expected him to be a little quicker though, I saw him take off once and he looked slow. For his size I figured he would be much faster.
