I got my Power Sweep and it didn't have any games on it. :(

I must be a bit behind.

when did you get it?

I got it yesterday, BUT my girlfriend pulled it out of her purse, so I would a kajillion dollars it had been in there for more than 2-3 days.

Maybe I'll get the updated one soon.

How many have you gotten overall? It sounds like you didn't pay for it. If you've gotten more than 3, thats nuts. It costs like $125 for a whole season, but you can request 3 free first.

i dont know how many i've received. it's at least 3. I ordered his fantasy football magazine online. I better not get charge for a full season's worth of power sweep.

No no no you won't. The gift is 3 free, and then you'd receive nothing more. You have to call them and give them info first before you pay. It won't be a nuisance, I'm sure.

If you've received only 3, I bet its done. It's pretty cool for people who bet sports (like I just started doing). He has UT winning 23-20?! Even though I give him way more credit than I should, that still boosts my confidence.

seems like i've got more than 3 though, but I havent been charged anything.

He had a short description of each game. I dont have it anymore so I can't tell you what he said other than Cal would still probably run the table after the loss and that Cal is a great team.

Like the fact that Steele picked the Vol's. He got his sh*t together on stats and knows his stuff.

He had us finishing #3 in the East last year.

This year he has us finishing 1st in the East. He has us as his #2 surprise team and #5 most improved team.

Alberts = Moron
Steele = Researches and makes informed opinions
Steele is nothing but your typical scamdicapper. He makes his living off people who lack the self confidence to make their own picks or those stupid enough to believe he really has some foolproof system. He's nothing but a less charismatic version of Wayne Root. The real pros don't spend their time giving their picks out to the public. Steele is simply another parasite who feeds off the public's naivete. His success, as well of that of his peers, proves PT Barnum was exactly right.

Disagree. He at leasts has picked things more right then the others. Why would the "pros" not give their picks out to the public. I ain't exactly a Steele fanatic but wouldn't go to extreme that he is a clown. Not sure why you dislike him so.

Real pros don't give their picks out because they don't want public money distorting the lines. It's the same reason Coca Cola doesn't give its secret formula to Pepsi Co. You never give up valuable information.

If that's the case, I'd rather Steele keep his crap to himself just as Coke should. :)

I don't care about the betting stuff, personally. I have found PS's football preview to be nothing less than outstanding. Infinitely better than Athlon's.

I'll never forgive Athlon for changing their magazine 3 years ago.

The line was originally S. Miss +20. Steele predicts a 21 point loss. I think the oddsmakers know far more than us.
The oddsmakers aren't making predictions. They're looking to evenly distribute money. If people disagree, that's an indication the line is on target.

What I'm saying is that the oddsmakers have to lay a line that is close to where they see the game to be, or the betting will be far too lopsided. As I'm sure you know, you don't see 3-4 point moves on lines. You might see 1' at most, but usually 1 or less.
