Phil Steele’s projected OL starting lineup for UT

IMO, the starting OL will be:

OT - Wanya Morris
OG - Trey "Never Look Back" Smith
C - Brandon Kennedy
OG - Cade Mays
OT - Darnell Wright

We have great depth with Morris/Wright/Calbert/Akporghene at OT, Kennedy, Carvin, Cooper Mays at Center, and Lampley, Locklear, Lane, Calbert and Carvin at Guard.

I wonder if we shouldn't just see if Jamir Johnson can play TE (especially as the blocking TE in blocking situations). If he can catch, we would be in great shape there too. He is about 286 and more nimble than most OL. He is also very strong for his weight.

Could be the best OLine in the SEC. Time to pound the rock. Pruitt got us playing ole fashion Smash Mouth ball again. Gonna be a fun season if one happens

It'll be a shame if it doesn't.

Don't really care how it plays out, just hope Mays is eligible. And either way it does play out we have depth at the position and not just depth, quality depth. We have some serious size on the line now too. Glad to see it.
