Boo with a 42, wow
Yep - bad. Lack of effort is concerning and I’m not referring to the end of the long pass ending up in a score. He is missing assignments, too. I know he’s unhappy and it’s noticeable. The staff needs to watch the tape and decide what to do as we need better play to beat Oklahoma, FL and Vandy.

Easy decision. Play the younger guys who are going to be here next year. Could they be any worse? I'd rather see a kid make a mistake by hustling and being aggressive than what I'm seeing from Carter.

Why is the staff playing him? I fault them more than I fault Boo.

I’ve said it before, I’ll take a 3 star kid with a chip on his shoulder over a fringe 5 star player who thinks he’s owed something any day of the week.

Don’t know. Million dollar question. I can only assume Boo says all the rt things. Or, maybe the staff is ignoring it while thinking he will improve the following week? Who do we have behind him?

I don't care who is behind him....I'd play a damn walkon that gives effort before his ass saw the field again.

Couple of thoughts...

It stands to reason that there are those in the UT Admin who mine social media accounts to get a feel for where the popular / public / fan opinions are. Also stands to reason that there are people who are on VN, either quiet members or just lurkers, who visit here to see which way the wind is blowing. And I'd bet $20 without blinking that there are VN members who have the ear of the UT Athletics Department, at some level.

I offer the "Schiano Sh*tshow" as Exhibit B. He was all but hired, and then Vol fans and VN went off the rails. More than one job was lost in the fallout of the Volunteer Nation Revolt.

Go back to the Fulmer era, and his eventual "retirement" came after the chorus of fed-up Vol fans...likely including VN...turned into a rising crescendo that could no longer be ignored. Key point here is that he had the opportunity to fix the problems, and stuck to his guns. Call that one "Exhibit A".

For now, it's just a whisper that grows louder day-by-day. An undercurrent that can be felt, but not yet seen. Fans, media, and perhaps players are growing tired of the same old same old. And they are starting to voice their displeasure.

Those who do not remember history are doomed to repeat it. Josh Heupel would be wise to listen to the wind.

Or he can end up being "Exhibit C".

Yep. Watch what 2 star Pavia does to our defense in a few weeks. Hardest thing to evaluate with a recruit is heart, want to, drive, desire... whatever you call it.

I agree, a players drive, and attitude is very important to their success. Pavio is a competitor, he has drive, and desire. Boo does not have that.

This staff needs to just bench boo and be done with it. We all know he doesn't care and will be in the Transfer portal as soon as it opens up.
