I don't understand. Are you saying the Titans logo speaks for itself? Well, apparently not. Not in this state, anyway.
I wish I had absolutely no team loyalty like most of the peeps in Knoxville.
You just wouldn't understand, Sly. As a loyal Titans fan, I've grown to despise him over the years. Sure, for the longest time, I was a Titans fan first, and then I'd cheer Peyton on after the Titans season went to crap, or they were eliminated from the playoffs.
But, I think it's the bandwagon TN fans that talk so much smack, proclaiming themselves "Colts fans," that got under my skin. Over the years of having to watch "our guy" beat us out for the playoffs almost every single year, I grew to dislike Peyton a little.
I was ready to welcome him with open arms. I don't wish any physical harm on him, but I hope he never wins a thing in Denver. Although a healthy PM could almost make the playoffs by himself, I hope he gets embarassed in Denver.
Yes, I became a Titans fan when they moved to TN. You got a problem with dees?
The idea that you can willy nilly follow the winningest program in each league, programs like the Lakers or Yankees, and feel some sort of gratification when "your program" wins is a little silly to me.
Following a program that is close to home, that you can actually go watch, makes more sense to me.

so, by this logic, I should have been a Lions/Tigers/Pistons/wolverines fan when I lived in michigan, but now that I live in Denver, I should follow the locals?
For a lot of Vol fans, that connection was Peyton Manning. But I can't be a fan of an entire organization because of just one player. Some people can. Good for them.
