Peyton not going to bat for Tee????

How can Peyton not go to bat for Tee when so many other VFL players are doing so?

Guys,
After today's Gundy debacle, for the second time, truly saddens me.

I would have got the deal done with Tee and re-united the fan base unless Gundy was already a done deal.

I truly don't understand why Peyton still refuses to go to bat for Tee on the search committee.

Tee has been true champion in everything that he's done.

Clemson's HC coach was a coordinator and so was Fulmer.

Somebody else is going to give Tee a shot and we're already at the bottom of the SEC.

I'd he honored to bring Tee home as the Vols next head coach.

Does Peyton have bad blood towards Tee??? and Peyton helped bring Butch into the fold.

I've read several reports that Peyton is the reason Tee Martin isn't being contacted.

If so, Peyton needs to pony up and learn to coach. I am starting to think he is more loyal to the Haslams to the Vols, it makes me very sad, but it's true.

i'm confused, how is it we know Peyton is against Tee again? i've seen this a lot, but i've never seen anything that really links that up?

Peyton isn’t going to bat for Tee because it’s such a colossally stupid idea I can’t believe anyone is seriously suggesting it.

Because Peyton knows we can’t take a chance on a coach at this point. And that he’s not ready yet. Many former players are because he’s black, ie Haynesworth. Sorry, but it’s the truth. And typical of society today. Personally I think Kiffin should be the hire then Tee in as Associate Head Coach and groomed one day to take over. But that seems to be too complicated for that clown Currie

nope, but i'll say if that's the direction we're headed, and who we're going to wind up with, i'd rather just skip to the end and give it to tee.

i think if we did do that, there'd be at least some semblence of support for him, and some level of patience while he figures things out.

none of those other guys would get that and at the first sign of struggle, the fan basae is checking out.

You seem to be insinuating that Peyton has something against Tee, other than never being a head coach.

You also seem to have some kind of agenda against Peyton.

All they said was that some people including Peyton wasn’t ready to pursue Tee just yet. This was around yesterday and my guess it’s because they were focusing on Gundy first before getting Tee.

I don’t think this is anything to be concerned about, I’m sure Tee will get a look.

Thank you. Someone who gets it. If you're gonna take a risk, take it with one of our own and someone who has already given their all for UT.
