you can know about a player without knowing about the entire team

plus there is some regionality (both locally and in television broadcasts) too as far as why most people in this area don't watch/see BYU alot

and as he said, he led the country in receiving; kid was a good player

I agree with everything you said here, but how many people really knew much if anything about Collie? I watch college football every Saturday from 11am EST til the very last game goes off and most games during the week and I can't say I ever heard of this guy before April when the Colts called his name.
