Just about a month later, Brady announced his un-retirement, and Manning didn’t have more gifts. Instead, he had jokes this time around.

“I wrote [Tom] this long [personal letter],” Manning said via ESPN. “I mailed it to him, sent him a bottle of wine. And then he unretires and I’m like, I want the letter back! You got to read all these nice things, I want it back. I want the bottle of wine back, too.”

Ehh, you really think throwing deflated balls made him the goat?
You don't know? He never would've won seven SBs and won one at 43 if they hadn't been secretly allowing him to deflate them every game. And of course he also wouldn't have led the league in passing yards and TDs at 44. All just from deflated balls. Every QB in the league would be leaving Brady in the dust and shattering records, dozens of them would have ten or twelve SBs each, but the league has this special agreement with Brady where they always let him deflate the balls, and no one else.

Well that and knowing what plays the defense was going to call. Also having an o line that gave him 10 seconds to find someone open for a 5 yard slant. Also great defenses and the goat coach. Also the tuck rule, Pete Carrols play calling and getting a ton of roughing the passer calls when nobody touched him. That’s all though so a pretty small list.

Virtually nobody ever talks about the insanely great defenses Brady has had in his career. And FG kickers.

Vinaterri won the first 2 or 3. Vanderjagt lost Peyton every big game.

Look what happened when Brady left NE. Then compare that to when Peyton left Denver. Belicheck already has his back in the playoffs.

The Brady homers will argue that Brady win a SB with another team but once again, they seem to think Brady single handedly won all of these SBs by himself. He has never played on a bad team and has never had to carry a team on his back.

With your logic no QB can ever claim a super bowl

Sure, they can all claim a ring with each of their teammates. For some reason people feel that all of Brady’s rings are his and his alone. He had a lot of help and there are clearly SBs his teams would have won with or without him.

Except Brady went and won another ring in Tampa. You’re funny.

Ah yes and it was clearly due to him right? Let’s examine that SB win shall we. TB defense held the Chiefs (who averaged 30 ppg) to only 9. Then his last SB in NE the defense held the Rams (who averaged 33 ppg) to 3 points. Yeah you are funny.

You are missing the point. When people talk about SB winners, most mention the other team as well. Talk about Montana and inevitability will hear Rice, Lott, Clark, Walsh, Craig and Taylor. Mention Aikman, you get Smith, Ervin, Harper, Haley, Sanders, Johnston and the OL.

But not Brady. Brady is the only QB that gets sole credit for the SB wins. It doesn’t matter who the defense or FG kicker did. Doesn’t matter how good his OL performed or Belicheck. It’s ONLY Brady. That’s where you and others fail. Does Tom Brady have 7 rings? Yes. Was it all because of him? No. He was part of a team that won.

Bill Russell has 11 rings in the NBA. Ever hear his name mentioned in the GOAT debate? Nope.
