I just thought it was awesome that he showed up at the game during his bye week. With the program being down like it is it would be easy for him to be scarce, even though we lost, and im sure his presence gave the team a morale boost.

I just wonder whether he showed up on his own accord or was asked. Either way he is a class act.:good!:

no doubt Peyton is a good guy, but does he or anyone else think Phil is good for this program at this point. I mean really.

Uh Duh Peyton said "these guys just need to listen to coach fulmer he can get us out of this" I beleive that is true. For the last 2 weeks I have been on here battling against the fulmer haters, still will. The thing that I am willing to change on is our QB.We really need another QB,but Crompton may be the best we got, thanks to T.Pryor changing his mind late. So Support Coach Fulmer Go Vols, and THANK YOU PEYTON MANNING for your support.

i wish some one would have either...

A) gave him some pads
B) gave him a headset and a dry erase bored so he could scratch up a better offense then what we have

anyone see peyton as coach peyton in years to come?

I think that would be a natural progression for him, he looks like a coach at the line of scrimmage, and I doubt there are many out there that would know more about offense and the QB position.

I have seen this as a possibility for three years now. With his degree in communication you have to wonder whether he sees his future as a commentator or analyst or could he have had coaching in mind all these years. Then you have to wonder is he just waiting for cpf to retire.:good!:

Funny. It's so strange the way Overstreet gets pummeled for sticking up for Fulmer, yet Peyton gets a pass.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing but great memories of Peyton (except when we played Florida, especially his junior year when he was so terrible). I also want Fulmer to step down.

However, the way some on here bashed Overstreet for sticking up for Fulmer, and then give Peyton a pass on it.

If he he had only worn black, imagine how much of a factor he'd have been!

I feel bad for Peyton having to stand on the sidelines and be reminded of the first four games of his Freshman campaign. I don't recall him ever playing as bad as Crompton did though.

I told my buddy in the 2nd half I wish he'd walk over to Fulmer, kick him in the balls & take his headset! Ah, dreams....all I got left this season.....:cray:
