Petty Switching to Fords

Is it what the doctor ordered for Richard Petty Motorsports? Forgot where the three primary cars finished (#9, #19, #43) they all ran up front and lead laps while looking fast and impressive. Will the merger with Yates Racing and switching to Fords wind up being a good decision as the year goes on?

It was a great move for RPM. While I am thinking about a Petty, why in the hell does Kyle put that black tape over the 45 on his hat?

They don't run the 45 anymore. It is in reverence for it and Adam.

Yes this is a great move for Petty. They will get tons more R&D help from Roush and Yates than Dodge could ever have offered. While none of the Petty cars finished well at Daytona they all ran up front and showed good speed. It will be interesting to see if either the 19 or the 43 can run up front or if it will be all on Kahne's shoulders again.
