Pete Hegseth, Trump Dept of Defense nominee…

How about just saying they both suck. While Austin absolutely abandoned his post without his boss knowing of his absence and that should have gotten him fired I can’t remember him using an unapproved app to brag to people who had no need to know about classified details of US military operations. Another act which also should have resulted in dismissal.

If he did you would have never heard about it.

Lol. Sure. I mean he probably at least managed to not include an oppo hostile journalist in the chat 😂

Sure but you and I both know the press covered up for the previous administration so using the old "at least he never" doesn't fly. It would have been buried if he did.

Oh it absolutely flies unless you’ve got evidence otherwise. Plus I already posted what as far as concerned is cause for removal on Austin in abandoning his post. So we should have fired him twice is your play?

No, just saying you can't use the "at least he never" with the previous administration. We'd never know if he did so how could I have evidence?

I also called for PH to be fired after the text screw up.

Ok Hegseth should have been fired once and Austin should have been fired twice! Works for me!

This is disturbing, to say the least.

My favorite part:

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins then asked Trump who ordered the pause last week. He sidestepped a direct answer, instead asking, “I don’t know, why don’t you tell me?” Hegseth, who was seated next to the president, remained silent.
