Great opportunity to put four quarters of total football together on the road. We are good enough to get Dormandy snaps early in the fourth IF we play solid football for a complete game.

Butch and co had the team wound tight for the first half of season. Hopefully figured it out last week. Let Dobbs get in rhythm. Let him ball.

Huge road game. Even more huge road game (1000 miles away) next week. Team is coming together at the right time.

Keep rolling Big Orange. Timing has been perfect. Make it count.

Be prepared to be disappointed if you're expecting this game to be comfortable in the 4th quarter. I wont be suprised if Dormady doesnt see a snap until the Tennessee Tech game. I hope youre right and we blow them out of the stadium but I will believe it when I see it.

"Best staff in America" - see butch jones' press conference following his hire.

forreal. i can imagine a little kid making a stupid mocking face while saying it. swear we must have an army of trolls on here. they can't be real fans.

Butchs joke he threw out when he got hired. Some people have took it as truth and ran with it. EVH has been using it as fodder ever since. Its getting as bad as dd's alasalami crap.

It's the Butch equivalent of "Looking for Rommel." I use BSiA as a joke and have for a long time. Some serious, serious dudes up in here with some boxers in a wad.

It's his team; it's our team. We get to take liberties and have some fun. I hope BOT is wrong and he was fairly serious about trying to bring in the BSiA. Shoop is definitely getting it done. It's Butch's offense, and I think the DeBordinator is fine. In fact, it's probably someone with Butch history like the DeBordinator who might be able to sneak in some SEC tweaks to toughen up the run game (we have tough backs, need to get them running North to South more). I'm not sold on the throw game coordinator and Mahoney, but Malone stepping into the go-to receiver slot is a welcome ingredient in championship teams.

We show a complete game and we'll beat this Georgia team by 17 or more. It's time to show a complete game. I hope they unleash some wrinkles in College Station to slow the game down and punish the Aggie defense with Hurd and Kamara.

One thing I've maintained - Butch and co have been learning on the job. They have. But unlike Stooley et al, they are LEARNING. They're getting there. Win 2 out of the next 3 and they will be challenging for BSiA honors.

^^Yep. This is UT we're talking about. Like you said....seeing is believing. Until then...nope.

So to have the BSIA does it have to only be Allstars in every position or just better as a group?

I'll be honest I'm not familiar with everyone on our staff. To go any deeper than coordinators and position and strength coaches I'd have to google the rest of the staff.

Shoop would be in the running as a top DC.

DeBord would be top 10 at running our offense.

Stripling seems to bring something to the table.

Martinez is a quality coach.

Gillespie is no slouch.

Azzanini, well the jury is still out on him.

Scott is an asset to the program.

Mahoney has caught some heat but we'll see on him too.

Thigpen is no slouch.

Szerszen has worked out so far.

The rest of the Support Staff(30 of them), seem to be strong(2 are high profile VFL).

There is a weakest link in every organization, our's is up for debate, with our AD leaving, with the proper hire that won't be it going foward.

I agree with you. I'm expecting a tough game and I wish more of VolNation wasn't so quick to draw conclusions based on last week's results. It just raises expectations to an unreasonable level.

History tells us that UGA should be a hard-fought game. And programs like UGA (and UT, for that matter) have great coaching and great athletes who make adjustments and tend to look very different week-to-week. There is every reason to expect we'll see a different UGA team than the one Ole Miss beat up last week.

It's weird to think that even if we beat UGA on the road, some here might actually be disappointed, just based on unrealistic expectations. Let's just hope for a win and be happy about it if it happens. Because SEC wins are hard to come by and this one has a lot riding on it.
