Well, we were dominated in this game. The perfect storm hit us. We have been decimated by injury at key positions, played a horribly tough schedule for 4 straight weeks and played a team hitting on all cylinders. This bama team had this game won before it was even played. Debord had lack luster play calling and tie that in with bama's superior talent ( 5 straight #1 recruiting classes it was almost imposible to win that game. Need to get healthy and go about business starting immediately. Please support our Vols!!!!

I just don't understand how it was so close last year in Tuscaloosa

That was a "perfect storm" in some ways as well. We were coming off a comeback win vs UGA and a week off. Bama was at the end of a long stretch before a bye week.

bama was very tired and rundown last year. they had played 3 tough opponents in 3 weeks and we had them on the 4th week and we were coming off of a bye. this year was a reversal. we played 3 tough games in 3 weeks and injuries took it's toll. best explanation i can come up with.:twocents:
