Perception of talent on ol for 09'

Why?

The coaches love his work ethic.

Because he was now highly rated and was a walk-on. That has never turned out a decent player.

seriously, i agree....... let me ask you this.......when we pulled a guard on running plays or screens, and it doesn't matter to which side.......how many times did you see that O linement running straight ahead and not HITTING ANYONE........

I'm no expert, but if you're an O linement pulling to block, your job is to hit the guy in front of you.....too many times i saw that guy not do squat.

anyway, just something i notices a few times during the season, always p'd me off. and was a direct result of coaching.

How much of the decline is coaching? development /scheme

i think most all of us are hoping it had a lot to do with it.

the problem is we won't really know until next September, and then, we still won't really know.

but it's nice to think we have all this mis used talent waiting around to be utilized correctly.

and that may be the case. but i don't think it is so much so that it's going to translate in to TN being a top ten team next year.

Our line looked worse than it really was due to not having a QB and the Defenses were loading up the box.
