If I was a Vol fan, I would be nervous about all the shadiness surrounding his recruitment...

Doesn't anyone else think it's weird that all of the top programs didn't want to touch this guy with a 10 foot pole?

The best part about him is his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Check out those Army All American highlights and watch him running like a receiver. Pretty impressive

I didn't say the guy wasn't awesome. He is ridiculously talented. Am I missing something though? I mean, didn't Miami of all places say no to this guy? Am I wrong? I'm asking you guys seriously because I did not follow his recruitment.

Then do some research before asking asinine questions. I swear all these damn trolls will take something out of you... But they make for a rather large ignore list.

So... I guess you're not going to help inform me? Gosh... now I have to go do some random google searches... thanks really. Aren't message boards about sharing information?

They didn't renew it after he sat on it too long and it expired. Big difference bn not renewing and withdrawing. They were just sick of the process like a lot of us were with Oku. I am surprised that Texas and OU weren't as much in the picture, but I don't think it was bc they weren't interested. they probably just assumed he was going to sign with Miami like his brother

so you're saying everyone just thought he was a done deal and didn't recruit him until it was too late?

You're correct. Many schools thought the Brown family to Miami was a packaged deal. Big brother probably informed Bryce that Miami was being shady with his playing time.
