On the Enrichment Sports Source when talking about if things come off the rails, Pennington said, "I think there's gonna be a big push in this town to bring back Phillip Fulmer as your emergency hire, ala Bill Snyder, Kansas State." Hyams agrees.

Those guys and that show are such a joke.

Two problems with those comments:

1) We might get a secondary violation out of all of this. We will NOT come off of the rails.

2) People need to let Fulmer go. He's NOT coming back EVER. Drop it and embrace CLK.

"If things come off the rails"?

So, in this scenario, would Fulmer be brought back so that we could rub his nose in the mess he left and allowed to perpetuate. You know, like when your dog leaves a hot pile on the carpet.

Unless Hyams was put in charge of the hiring process, I don't think we would ever see Fulmer return.

I would not root for UT if this happened. You don't fire someone and then decide to bring them back 2-3 years later. Hyams is still living in the past, he needs to get over it.

Glad i don't live in Knoxville. I never heard so many butt hurt reporters whine about Failmer. Mediocre must be their style, doesn't fill the seats though.

How does Hyams still have a job?

Maybe he doesn't. Maybe he's like that character in "Office Space," Milton, who was actually fired a while back but has somehow slipped through the cracks and still shows up for work.

Absurdity.....just ask Louisville, Kansas, Clemson, Virginia and Notre Dame. I'm beginning to wonder if Jimmy Sexton is sending talking points to Hyams.

Why do these idiots insist in calling this an "NCAA INVESTIGATION" into the University of Tennessee.... they all quoted this over and over again and again..... and if Pennington hadn't read the Clay Travis article he would have nothing to talk about.... even usng a direct quote from it without giving credit ...i.e. "The deer that makes the most noise get's shot"

I'm sick and tired of hearing about the fired coach. That guy will never coach here again. People just need to let it go. He ruined this football program at the end of his career. That's why we have to settle for average years until Kiffin can bring his guys in.

Their agenda is showing. They also called Hookers piece about the NYT's being wrong "wishful thinking".
