Interesting to see another major program join Tennessee in making the switch. Adidas must be firing a lot of money at schools. Wonder who will be next? There was some talk that Nike was mostly focusing on pro sports, and treating college as a secondary tier. Could Adidas have eyes on recapturing more of the college space?

wow, 14 years of lurking, and the Adidas deal, of all things anti-PSU on this forum for 14 years, is what gets you to post.

I was as shocked as anyone that I even had an account here when I entered my email to create one.

But very tough day for you guys finding out how much smaller you are nationally than PSU.

how many UT fans were on Penn State's board bragging up our deal?

we had about a million more eyes on our games than "bigger brand PSU did"

you won't find me complaining about the deals. there is always a bigger fish. only thing that really concerns me is how much better this new deal is compared to our old one.

but considering our deal hasn't been officially defined yet, I find it hard to believe anything worth bragging about on another team's board has been finalized for Penn State.

Wonder how many posts there are on PSU boards about how a switch from Nike (regardless of the money) is stupid, will wreck recruiting and ultimately doom the program like there was here?

Probably about 10-15%. There were a few meltdowns last night and they couldn't explain one reason why they were mad. Most are pretty happy with the extra money, we are far behind OSU and Michigan in NIL. People make fun of Franklin, but he's got an arm tied behind his back while trying to fight Ryan Day and he still making it pretty competitive keeping us in the Top 8 nearly every year.

I'm shocked that PSU would leave Nike. They both have a long history of exploiting children.

17-36 against top 25 teams. Nice. When you do play a top 25 team there’s about a 67% chance you lose to them under Franklin.

I can't imagine remembering a password from a message board I never used 14 years ago. And then dealing with the frustration of resetting the password, just to post some dumb thing .... for a team that's not yours, not a rival, not even in your conference, and you haven't played in nearly 20 years.

Kind of reaffirms why Adidas made us their flagship school.
