Penalties

The false start penalties were obscene and several times turned a 3rd and short into a 3rd and long (aka we gotta pass). On the times that we did not score on a drive and had to turn the ball over, it seemed as if MOST of the time, it was directly related to a penalty.

Jennings deserved his.

Calloways was horse$Hit.

He was blocking downfield with his back to the play. No intent on his part.

This false start **** has got to decline or stop. This is something I would look to coaching to fix.

One recurring problem throughout the Butch Jones tenure was pre-snap penalties. I had really hoped with some better coaching this year, that would be straightened out, but at least so far... it hasn't been.

Here is my view of the false starts, correct me if I'm wrong. The Center was to blame on all of them.

QB claps/ball snapped, QB claps/Ball snapped, QB claps/Ball snapped, QB claps/Ball snapped, QB claps////////Ball snapped.

Seems like they were in a groove then the Center inexplicably doesn't snap the ball right away and everyone on the line moves on the clap.

Who cares. Tennessee is a basketball school now. Get on board or get run over.

In 5 years we’ll struggle to sell out Neyland and TBA will lead the nation in sellouts.

The momentum is shifting. Anyone who can’t see it is out of touch.

Well, that's better than soccer, I guess.

I disagree about Jennings penalty; he was trying to get up and stumbled and then put the ball down by the defender. Maybe there was some intent but are we really that snippy?
