I can guarantee you this, hang up any consideration for E-man to play this year for Tennessee or ever again. He flat-lined. Dead. Brought to life. Duke Crews last year if you remember had something similar Cardio Myopathy I think, look how long he was out and it was just a few inconsistent heartbeats that prevented him from playing. Negedu will have to go through months of testing before he is cleared again. Bank on that.

It wasn't the heart condition that kept Duke Crews from playing here...

i dont want E-man to play this year. If the coaches rush him out there this season and he dies. it would be tragic.

Pearls presser says quit speculating. See you don't follow directions.

Any word on negedu's condition??? People are commenting on gvx that it has been confirmed that he does indeed have hc. I havent heard that anywhere and it seems like just rumors, but i was just wondering if anybody has heard anything other than what Pearl said at his press conference.

Thoughts and Prayers go out to Emmanuel Negedu!!!

GET WELL E-MAN

The"heart condition" was a byproduct of the reason why he is not here, from what I understand.

By the way, did you see dude in your avatar doing all the ESPN interviews?

With the incident that occurred, it would be extremely unlikely that he will play again--especially this season. His life is much more important than a game. It is very unfortunate for a good kid that would have contributed to this team and had a good future in basketball.

Basketball pale's in comparison to someone living their life. It's really unfortunate that this happened to Emanuel. It's never easy to have to tell a kid they have to give up on their dream but I don't think he will ever be able to play again. Not to say he couldn't play again, but you have to put it in terms of an entire life. Is basketball so important that you would risk dying to play it? People out there who say he should play anyway because we need him are selfish and narrow minded. Are they going to have to explain to his parents that he died playing a game? No. It's a tough situation, but I think any reasonable person would think that given the choice of potentially dying or living a long healthy life is an easy decision. I hope Emanuel gets all the medical attention he needs and makes a wise decision regarding his future basketball career, because it may save his life.
