It's not that I'm a Pearl hater. I get ticked when people try to defend his actions. It makes our fan base look hypocritical also.

I would gain back a lot of respect for Pearl if he would man up and tell the whole story instead of some innocent tear jerk garbage.

I don't see a problem with junior recruits coming over to a coaches house. Why can senior's come over but junior's can't? If the coach is giving gifts/money then I would have a problem with it.

Well, it doesn't really matter if you have a problem with it. The point is, it's against NCAA rules, and Pearl knew that.

Damn it you beat me to it haha. The defending of Pearl on here is ridiculous even if the rule violation is stupid in our minds. The guy openly committed numerous violations (now we find out more than once) and then lied about it. Pearl probably should've jumped ship for Iowa back in the spring, like Cal does.

It doesn't matter if Pearl jumps ship or not though. Calipari was not investigated at UMASS or Memphis, which allowed him to escape. This is going to follow Pearl wherever he goes because the allegations are against Pearl himself.

At this point, I could give a hoot about pearl at this point, but his bs is gonna get our entire sports program in hot water.......... I can only help this is relegated to basketball.

It doesn't surprise me to hear about it happening before.....and for those of you defending Pearl, hey, whatever makes you feel better. I'm a realist though and he is dirty. He did great things for our program, but he needs to go.

I don't care what he did before he came to UT.... and I think Hamilton has decided to live with the violations he commited to this point. I have been and continue to be a Pearl supporter because HE IS OUR COACH... but if there is more that we know (ie Hamilton knew) IMHO there is nothing left to do but cut him and Hamilton both loose and as in football....START ALL OVER AGAIN.. and loose to the public cheaters at Kentucky
