I thought that no one picked up the game. I read where Lincoln Financial didn't pick up the game and that Vol Network had not decided to pick it up as pay-per-view. Has that changed? I checked earlier this morning, and it was not listed for gameplan. I have gameplan, but had conceded that I wouldn't get to watch this one.

Well, I know that LF said they weren't going to show it. So, it would take CBS or Vol Network to pick it up. CBS won't....so that leaves the VN. I just checked again, and it is not on the ESPN Gameplan schedule. I don't think that we're getting this one...

dang thats a bummer if we dont because i know a lot of people are already expecting it since they said they were gonna give up lafayett for this one to be on ppv... this is ridiculous for an SEC game to not be televised

I heard on the radio that the Vol Network was going to show the Miss. St. game instead of the ULL game. It's not on the Gameplan schedule yet but, may not be completely finalized yet.

Well...I haven't checked to see if the Vol Network has reversed their decision. It may be possible that it will be on pay-per-view, but not on Gameplan. I'll see what I can dig up.

That's true. Then again, the Vol Network may have decided to pick it up so late that ESPN Gameplan had already decided what they were showing. Gameplan has shown every other pay-per-view Vol Network game so far this year...

What I heard was that the Vol Network is doing everything they can to pick it up on PPV.

The problem is the conference. They have to approve the deal. They kind of did last week but over the week end let Steve Early (head of Vol Network) know that they had not yet approved the deal.

The SEC is the holdup.

In related news, MS St. still has lower level sideline seats available. I just bought a pair in F, which is next to the UT section, they also have some on the other end and side of the field. F are 101.00 a pair and the others were like 10 bucks more I think.

Yep..that sounds about right from what I just read. GoVolsExtra reported on the 4th that the deal was close, a local television station also reported on the 4th that it was going to be pay-per-view. So, I don't know what the final decision will be. Regardless, it doesn't matter for me unless Gameplan picks it up......but hopefully it will at least be picked up for pay-per-view so a few of you guys in the area can watch it.

I think if you were in Starkville, it would be a cheaper to buy a ticket and go to the game then buy the ppv.

I can't understand why LFS would rather show Alabama and Ole Miss instead of Tennessee and Mississippi State. The better records belong to UT/MSU and I'd say it would be a more enjoyable game to watch as well. It sucks that it looks as if now there is 3 games this year that won't be televised.

The gameplan schedule is not set in stone and changes sometimes as late as the day of the game. I know that here in Chattanooga it available on comcast PPV. I would check around friday night to see if it is on gameplan nationwide (barring the blackout in miss.) Good luck with getting the game up in Boston. If not, you always have Bob.

Just called CC Cable, they confirmed it will be available via PPV. She said it can be pre-purchased on Friday -- not before.

She was unsure on the exact price but said it would prob' be 24.95. Usually, if you purchase it later I think it is $29.

So, it's ComCast for me. At least there will be Pro-VOL announcers like for the Ark St' Game.

Please don't remind me about Bob.

I am pretty sure it will be blacked out on gameplan for Tennessee and Miss St. Residents.

You can call-in before to Comcast and get it for $24.95 or you can order impulse (with your remote) or call-in day of and get it for $29.95.

Allso the Lousianna-Lafayette game will not be on PPV. They only way they would be able to do that is change the game time to a night game. Since it is homecomming I'm guessing they will not be doing that.
