If stuff like this happened more often the world would be a better place. That's a better punishment than anything a judge could give.

They're just trying to pump a little sunshine for whatever reason. Reader's Digest used to be good about it. They'd write a heartwarming, heroic story to make people feel good or something. Later, you'd learn that it was entirely made up. That's why I'm pretty skeptical like you. snopes.com: Urban Legends Reference Pages is usually reliable on these things.

That's who I use. My grandmother and my boss of all people are the worst for sending bogus emails. They have a 100% success rate.

If they're like some I have known in the past, they probably forward everything they get. My brother sends me funny stuff occasionally, but he knows to check anything else out before sending it.

What's fake about it? The injuries? If the story you posted was the "real" version, it's still pretty cool. He got clotheslined MFer.
