Pay $500,000 to IMG or let students in free to games.

Letting students in free would help fill up the stadium again. Even if it was just for a few seasons. I hate seeing all those seats empty every Sat.

Admissions needs to be easier again... There are too many nerds that don't care about football

Totally agree! The student section was crazy when I went to UT, now it sucks!

I mean it is great for the school don't get me wrong. My degree will be worth more for whatever that's worth. There still is a direct correlation between student section and admissions imo

I think there is more of a correlation between the amount of suckage we have had on the field the past 5 years and the declining crowd numbers/rowdiness of the crowd.

The Cameron Crazies are laughing at this.

I disagree completely. They are the most popular/trendy basketball team in the country and their arena holds like 5,000 people. Apples to oranges comparison would even be a stretch.

They're paying $500k in hopes of seeing a return of 1.5 million. It isn't just about having the stadium filled, but making money off it.

You do realize you are saying that its the product that matters there and not the admission standards.

The problem is Mike Hamilton. UT fans are fed up with him. The more people that quit going to games, donating money, and buying UT merchandise the sooner UT will get rid of Hamilton.

Hamilton and his supporters always point to the money he raises. Charging students is money raised. Paying IMG doesn't show up as money "spent." It is all about one side of the balance sheet. Fire Hamilton!

I may not like Hamilton but this is ridiculous

Once we start winning games against relevant competition, the empty seats will take care of themselves and so will the empty seats in the student section. I don't like to the student have to pay for game admission either, but those kids are getting a hell of a deal relative to what everyone else pays

You should not keep the bloated staff of the VASF(Tennessee Fund) if you are paying IMG to do their job. Fire some people at VASF.

This is pure BS. There are few, if any, oddballs that won't go to a game or buy stuff because of Hamilton.
