It was a calculated decision. Primary factor was money. UT probably figured that it made more sense to suffer sanctions for a few seasons than face a buyout that they simply could not afford. Trying to choose the lesser of two evils

Paul doesn't know Jack. We have no idea what's going on. The mole (my guess is Brumbaugh) could have said "if you don't tell the NCAA I will"

Who knows what's going happening. Not me, not Paul. A proactive approach and admission of guilt might help. Might not. We'll see

I KNOW this.... UT has 15 million plus 8.5 million bowl revenue at its disposal this afternoon. Pretty good bargain... my bet they already got a readout form SEC and NCAA. Decided it was worth it. Not bad.
