He has boar on the hot seat

Yep.........he's freaking out about the death of a dynasty like the other Bama homers. I've noticed a pep in his step since Saban came over to work at ESPN networks.....Sabans car has never been cleaner and Paul's tailor has never been busier adding patches to the worn out knees of his trousers.

If we beat Bama, the fanbase will loose its ever freaking loving mind. Wouldn’t that be awesome to have Flo and Bama in SEC FOOTBALL PURGATORY at the same time for about 3 decades.

I love how people think Finebaum loves Alabama. He played them for ratings. Rating is the only thing he cares about he could give 2 ***** about Bama. When I hear some dumb Vols fan talk about how he's a Bama homer that's how I know they didn't complete high school. Finebaum talks a lot about Bama because they're the only interesting story in college football for the last 15 years. Take that away and he will drop them like they never existed. He didn't talk about Tennessee because the only thing to talk about at Tennessee before Heupel was how they were a national embarrassment in every single way and everything they did. Makes for real poor ratings. Finebaum has had plenty of good things to say about UT the last couple years why? Because they actually had good things to talk about! Shocking how that works.

You are not wrong that he is a mercenary. He freely admits it. Two years ago, someone asked him why he was suddenly pro Tennessee again. He said because his public positions are what he thinks are good for his career.

However, on other occasions he has stated "I did live in Alabama for 30 years" so I think his does actually like them, other than sucking up to Saban for ratings.

Where I lost respect for him was during the fallout from the NCAA penalties over Albert Means in the early 00's. Paul had recently started his radio show. Prior to that when he had previously been a print only reporter he was known as a guy who would attack any sacred cow. He was in Birmingham and neither Auburn nor bama was spared his attacks, if they were not playing well. He also famously would ding his alma mater. After he got his radio show, he would get calls from every crackpot and trailer-dwelling ignoramous in bama with wild conspiracy theories about the Albert Means NCAA penalties. There was a particular country lawyer nutbag who sued Fulmer. Paul had him on multiple times and let him spew all sorts of retarded BS.

He actually pretended to believe the idiot gumps calling his show. His strong reputation for journalistic integrity? Nah! Forget that! Way more money sucking up to moron bama fans. And he has been 100% in the bag for bama ever since.

He has zero integrity. I have a pile of dog **** in my backyard that my dog deposited this afternoon, a rather large one, that has more intergrity than THAT POS.

Decent interviewer but how anyone considers this guy a “football expert” (I’ve heard him describe himself that way) is beyond me.
