Patrick Patterson going Pro.

Heard this morning he was announcing tomorrow (Friday)....

From what I heard on a news report this morning, there was some bad blood (possibly) between Cal and PP's family...His family says he never said he was turning pro and they were upset with Cal, seeing as how he had already declared once...Declaring a second time takes away any doubt, he can't turn back...Even when it was made known to Coach Cal, UK didn't back off saying he was turning pro...Looks to me like CJC essentially pushed PP out the door, announcing early to sway recruits....Guess there is nothing wrong with that but Patterson stuck it out three years and went through quite a bit...Looks to me like he earned a little bit better treatment than he got....

Not a huge shocker, but it's official now. Uk fans, what is your front court going to look like next season?

Two huge white guys. One can play, the other can't. Foul trouble and we are hurting next season, especially in the rebounding department.

Everyone is excited about the DDM, but they are going to miss the trio of Patterson, Cousins and Orton.

Best of luck to Patrick Patterson. He stuck it out during some tough times and has been a great player for Kentucky. He seems to handle himself well and seems to be a good student-athlete. Good luck at the next level Mr. Patterson.

If he was essentially forced out, that sucks for him but not surprising I suppose.

I am more than excited to not have to go against Pat, Orton and Cousins. That was a deadly rotation.

Trust me. The post your referring to by the above poster is complete BS. Just idiotic reporters taking something out of context, then a poster with no knowledge of the situation speculating.

I know this is a link-hungry crowd and knew it would cause a little suspicion, especially from the Cat-troll bunch...This story was reported yesterday morning on the morning show on WPSDLocal6 out of Paducah, Ky..I can't find the particular segment but I have found a couple of articles related to this particular situation....I'm not so sure the "idiotic reporters" were taking Tywanna Patterson out of context..It appears she was legitimately upset over the whole thing...What's weird is even after she finally got to talk to someone from the basketball offices, they still didn't retract the story...
