Is she a good fund raiser? Apparently that's all that is required of a AD these days.

Congrats on finally naming someone lower on the poll that Fulmer that I want at AD. You win a prize!

I think that men's and women's sports have separate AD's. She'd be fine for the women's AD, not such a good idea for the men's though.

She'd obviously make a good AD because she's good at glaring at people.

I'm not close to the Hill like some of you and I'm curious why people say no. CPS seems like she is very driven and holds people accountable. She took a women's program that was nothing and built it into something. That demostrates vision and creativity. Looks to me like she has the qualities of a good CEO or AD.

Why do people say otherwise?

Just good old-fashioned sexism that's all

Coaches should coach and administrators should administrate.

We have some fans who are dumber than the Bama dolt who poisoned the trees. Why does anyone think that you have to name a coach or former coach to a high position? There is a reason why most schools' athletic departments run in red ink and why Tennessee keeps it in the black. It is because our AD is a businessman first and foremost.

Fair question.

1. I hate women's bball, which I admit helps form my viewpoint.

2. I'm just not sure how well she would go over with a majority of the fanbase in a role other than women's bball coach. In addition, I'm not sure how she would go along with being told what to do by the big money boosters.

3. I'm not sure how well she would be able to get coaches in the "major" sports whose ego would allow themselves to work under her. Nor do I think hers would allow for a good working-enviornment with those said coaches as a employee/employer role.

4. I'm afraid she might run "too tight" of a ship.

5. I think it's a major jump from coaching a sport that quite honetly only a handful of schools care about (whether LV fans will admit it or not) to running a large business enterprise. She's great at the coaching/team running aspect of it. Running an athletic dept is an entirely different ballgame.
