Merge if necessary. I'm planning on going to game-day Saturday morning and I'm curious about where the cheapest places to park are, and if you pay for a place and have to leave will you be allowed back, or would you have to pay again? i won't be attending the game due to not having 100+ dollars for a ticket, but around 2 I MIGHT have to leave for a bit for family issues. so i could use some help here.

Now flame for whatever reason you feel like.

It's all good

I know of a free place. I park there every home game I attend and very few people know about it. But I will never reveal its location.

Douchebag post I know.

I typically park at a meter. That also means that I walk up to 2 miles to my tailgate but I'm cheap like that. At lease when it comes to parking. Hate paying to park.

Find a spot on a sidestreet downtown (should be easy in AM) and walk down / over to campus

Supposed to be a beautiful day

Park in the garage behind Downtown Grill and Brewery. It's free on weekends, even gamedays.

And largely unknown.

If you want to park close to the strip, the hospital offers event parking in its garage. Up behind the bank and the copper cellar. I believe it's 20. Most places around there are 25/30

+1 on the hospital. It is a walk to the stadium but the walk is on the strip where I am before and after games anyway.

I always park at the parking lot across the street from the 1st Tennessee Tower down town. Well it diagonally located from 1st Tennessee. You have to pay, but it's worth it. Simply because you get in your car and leave. I've NEVER had to sit in traffic after a game. Simply get in the car and the interstate ramp is a couple of blocks away. And it's actually on Cumberland Ave. it's just on the opposite side of Henly Street than campus.
