Bringing the family in for the mizzou game for their first game. We are staying in the Knoxville West / Cedar Bluff area. Any recommendations for parking for a family?

I think St. Mary's hospital has parking for $10 behind the strip. There is free parking in the Market Square and State Street parking garages. There is a shuttle from Market Square, but it's $5 a person, so it would be cost effective to just pay $20 to park nearer the stadium.

If your kids are old enough that they won't complain about the walk, I just walk from State Street garage. It's really not that bad a walk.

A lot will depend on where you are sitting, too. Downtown is OK for north or east but Cumberland is probably better for south or west. There are plenty of businesses, etc that offer parking all over for a small fee (around $20 as noted).

We usually park off 17th. It's $7-10 in all the places and we hit the strip. You can go towards the strip and find parking for $20. Do you guys plan on tailgating or just watching the game and checking out a couple stores on the strip?

I'd like to see the Vol Walk, shop the library and do the Volunteer Village, if they still do that.
