Are the parking areas in garages or outside? I'm wondering whether or not to bring along the canopy, in case it rains.

If you have a parking pass, all the lots I know of are outside. I think there is still a 50% chance of rain on Thursday, so I would pack the canopy if I were you.

See you there!!

keep in mind that if you elect to use a parking pass to bring everything. There is one Tiger market at the end of the parking lot and its always crowded. The stadium is right off the interstate and there's no where to stop before you get there so be packed and ready.
Also remember in parking in the stadium lot, its a long way to bars and back. Be prepared for a 15-30 minute walk one way to get to a bar or restaurant.

I'm from Nashville but have never been to a big game at LP field without a parking pass. With no pass, what do you suggest, just somewhere around Commerce / 3rd and hoof it across the bridge? Or is there parking for a fee on the other side of the river? Thanks!

depends on what your pregame activities are. If you're planning on going to lower broad, then there's a bunch of places to park. There's a bunch of places near the court house and James Robertson Pkwy, both pay and free. At that point you can either go across the bridge to LP or down to LB. You can also look at places south of broad. I park up on Hermitage Ave and there's quite a few streets you can park on. At that point you can go across the Korean bridge to LP, go to lower broad, or down towards Joes Crab shack then take the walking bridge over. I like parking on the Hermitage Ave side because I can get out and home faster.

Anyone in Lot B? We will have a real large tailgate there with about 40 people

Ha. So will we. We'll have the really tall flagpole flying the colors!

Come see me. What time are you setting up?
