A reporter on CNN was just saying how her 3 days actually count as 5.

She checked in shortly before midnight on Sunday...that counts as a day.

She was released shortly after midnight on Thursday...tha counts as a day.

The comical aspects of this farce simply astound...

I guess my fasting and praying has paid off, way to go Paris!!!!!! Can't wait for the tell-all book!

on a side note, they do the same thing at the hospital....say my wife goes in to labor and we have to go the hosp. at like 11 pm.....if she is checked in at 11 pm, that counts as a full day for THAT day, and it counts AGAINST our two day maximum that the insurance covers. so while she may only use 25 hours of her supposed 48 hour alotment, it's charged the same way.

complete BS.

They did report some sort of rash was the reason she was given 40 days of house arrest instead of 20 more days of jail. This is ridiculous. No one else would have been released. They would have taken anyone else to the MH unit for the depression and then to the clinic. This is why California and more specifically LA will always be a joke when it comes to the legal system.

Well thank God she gets to go home! It was unfair she had to sleep in such a cold cell and on such a hard bed. Justice has been served. Besides, now she can help OJ and Robert Blake find murders.

Don't you folks be cruel to poor Paris. She had psychological problems, was crying and couldn't eat. The cell was too cold and the bath towels did not match the bedspread. Besides, the pate was too salty and they wouldn't serve the proper wine with bologna sandwiches. She checked in a few minutes before midnight on Sunday and left a few minutes after midnight on Thursday. Therefore she gets credit for 5 days, not 3. It is going to be pure hell for her. The ankle bracelet that she has to wear is not Gucci!
