Paint the Rock! For recruits and bball game!

As of 1030pm the rock is still not painted.

Anybody with some experience and volunteers, let's pull this together and get it done. We have big recruits coming in and a Huge game tomorrow!

I've never done it before but there are a few ppl on here that have, let's get a gameplan in the works.

Or if anybody knows if it's already going down, post some pics in the morning.

I agree. Needs to get done tonight. I've never painted it before but I'm willing to show up and help. We need somebody to lead the way...

god i would love to be out there and have a hand in it. never painted the rock but such an awesome tradition would be amazing to experience. cant though, working third shift sucks a whole lot, but at least it affords me the time to get on here and talk with you fine gentlemen all night lol.

its easier for basketball, u never have the sheer volume of players coming in so you can personalize it alot more. with this many great players coming in you cant do anything special for just one. basically stuck just putting a generic message and their names on there. regardless i hope it helps! somebody get it done please!

ok i might have a solution but i need someone elses help to do it. found this link while looking for pics of the rock. Do or Die Time in Tennessee | Flickr - Photo Sharing! i cant access it though since im on my work computer and facebook is blocked. someone with a facebook go get on this guys page and suggest he paint the rock in the morning. looks like he kinda knows what hes doing lol

I'm four hours away, but what support is needed? Let's get this done!!!

Not to give any on-campus folks a hard time, but they figured it out last year.

Very nice! thanks for the assist. their work is super impressive and im sure it takes alot of time and planning but if they could get out there and just do a little to help out it would be huge, just a few graphics and the players names would suffice.

Oh sorry...well, come on rock painters club...paint the rock. Just write 'Vols For Life' and list the names...

Make sure you spell the names right...that is important to them! I think there are 12 recruits visiting
