Seems like Tennessee has had more than our fair share of heart-breaking losses that easily could have or should have gone the other way in the past decade. Nice to see the tables turn this season.

Immediately coming to mind are losses to:

UCLA in OT at the Rose Bowl in 2008

at Alabama in 2009 when they blocked 2 of our late FG's

LSU in 2010 when we got their fumble, but they got another play due to penalty and scored

2010 Music City Bowl when North Carolina had 15 or 20 on the field to spike the ball and stop the clock from running out and then kicked a FG to send to OT

Missouri in Knoxville in 2012 when we lost in 4 OT

Georgia in Knoxville in 2013 when we fumbled at the pylon instead of scoring in OT

Vandy scored a TD with a few seconds left to win in 2013

Florida 10-9 in 2014

Pretty much all 4 losses in 2015. Oklahoma, Florida, Arky, Bama.

Others?

Every loss is painful, but these easily could have or should have gone the other way. Sorry to bring back bad memories. Nice to see tables turn.

the most painful, maybe, was KY beating us with a WR at qb. Derek Dooley. that's the streak he ended.

Vanderbilt loss when DD was finally fired. Hard to believe that Vols football was so bad and embarrassing.

Last year to watch Medley miss all those fgs which would have beaten Bama

LSU 2006 - JaMarcus Russell takes them the length of the field in a minute drill

LSU 2007 SEC Championship Game - Denarrius Moore drop turned INT when driving to tie the game
