Just wondering, Why won't Outback take Auburn?

LOL They have said they want Tennessee.

I will say this.

IF Tennessee slips to the Cotton.

Look for The Cotton Bowl to take Texas instead of Nebraska to match up with the Vols.

Ok, I thought Outback had a choice before Cotton.

It gets pretty messy after the Capital One as to who goes first. From the SEC site:

The Capital One (2nd), will then make its pick following the BCS selections. The bowl must select the team with the next best overall record or a team that is within one win of the team with the next best overall record.
The Outback, Chick-fil-A and AT&T Cotton Bowls will work with the conference office to determine picks 3-5. The Cotton Bowl has the first preference of teams from the Western Division and the Outback Bowl has first preference of teams from the Eastern Division. The Cotton or Outback Bowl can select teams outside of its divisional preference, but must not select them before the opposite bowl selects from its divisional preference. The Chick-fil-A Bowl has the selection of preference following the Cotton and Outback Bowls.

I'd personally rather go to Tampa than Orlando unless I had young kids to take to Disney World. The money doesn't matter since the SEC teams split the bowl money less expenses.

Am I the only one a little concerned about Penn State?

I am sick to my stomach about playing Penn State. Not because of Penn State but because even if we do beat them everyone says well great you should have. If we play #6 11-1 Wisconsin and beat them it is a huge upset. This sucks!

Agreed, if we don't come out motivated...

Hooray 10AM bowls!

Well, we had a good result in the last one.

I could see a lot of people looking green for a 10am game on New Year's Day, though. And all of that swaying by the Aggie fans didn't help one bit:sick:

I was being serious. I'm gonna be watching it from the house, so the earlier the better. :rock2:

Source says Vols were "very very close" to the Capitol One Bowl.

He said that it was a last minute change of heart by some of the members.

On the bright side, for those watching at home, we won't have "What's in your wallet?" bludgeoned into our mind.
