First of all... the Cal game seemed more like a high school pep-rally rather than a big college football game... too many cheerleaders leading weird 'kiddy-like' cheers over the PA system... The noise at its high point was about the same as Neyland in a blowout of a cupcake team.

But what was up with the bear growl and playing music WHILE the play clock was running and we were calling plays several times? This really pissed me off. Auburn got introuble for this but I don't think Auburn's was as bad.

Also - the tree huggers were very interesting.. one lady had a pretty thick mustache.. but atleast they were chearing for the Vols :birgits_giggle:

They did in 1999...I don't know when they stopped using it though. It was terrible. Now if they would just stop playing Swingtown by the Steve Miller Band over the PA. (I don't mind when the Pride plays it)

Smokey's on the prowl....GRRRRRRRRRRRR! I remember they played that about 50 times in the blowout to Arky a few years back.
