So is he getting suspended for drinking or the Castro remarks? I thought we were allowed to support who we want to in this country...

You are allowed. And the private citizens, fans, and companies are allowed to do as they wish to you as long as it is within the confines of the law.

Greeney said it perfect on Mile and Mike. Freedom of speech deals with laws passed by congress and there by approved and executed by the other branches. Has nothing to do with this situation.

I like Ozzie and think he's a great fit for that club and that community. I was pretty convinced he is/was genuinely apologetic to the Latin community for his comments. With that being said, the general public needs to take a step back and realize who he is and what he does.

He's a baseball manager.

I like Ozzie and believe him to be sincerely apologetic to the people he has hurt by saying "I love Fidel Castro".

To the Marlins it's all about the bottom line. Period.

The baseball stadium is in Little Havana. The people who are making this a big issue are Cuban-Americans with direct ties to the atrocities forced on them and their families by Fidel Castro and his regime. They have every right to be upset by these comments from Guillen.

If it pisses them off to the point that they won't attend Marlins games and that begins to hurt the organization financially Ozzie will no longer be the manager of the Marlins.
